BUG has gathered a little more info about LAB (Live At Bristol) ahead of its launch this Friday - after chatting to Adam one of the masterminds behind the project, there's plenty on the horizon which promises a rosy future for the venue.
- The Venue will be fully open and operational from March onwards, with the aim that it will be open from 5pm 7 days a week. So after works drinks leading into a messy night's raving seems like a distinct possibility...
- Tuesdays will be student night, with the debut launch on the 10th March featuring none other than rave veterans N-Trance.
- Thursdays will be promoted in-house focusing on live performance, with Dub From Atlantis, CCQ, First Degree Burns and The Mighty Peas already lined up for shows.
- Fridays and Saturdays are all about the club nights, with names like Kingpin, We Don't Play and Buoyancy already planning parties, the latter hosting a party on Valentines Day night.
There's a definite buzz of excitement being generated about the place and hopefully it can reclaim its former glory to become an essential part of the music community here once again.
